Several trips to Japan have left their mark on Bobbi’s quilts.  She loves the respect for simplicity and the use of space and balance in Japanese art and culture.  Often the influence is quite obvious with the use of Japanese images within the quilts, but sometimes takes a more subtle form with the use of iconic motifs carefully placed within a floral themed quilt.
